Collection: Harley Davidson Sportster LED Lights

The Sportster runs a 5.75-inch headlight — smaller than the Touring family, and that size difference matters when you're shopping for an upgrade. Every headlight in this collection is sized and wired specifically for the Sportster platform, including Iron 883, Sportster 1200, Forty-Eight, and Nightster. No adapters, no guesswork.

The Sportster Lighting Upgrade — What's Different From Other Harleys

If you've been browsing LED headlights and keep seeing 7-inch options, that's because most Harley lighting content is written for the Touring family — Road King, Street Glide, Electra Glide. The Sportster is a different animal. It uses a 5.75-inch (5-3/4 inch) round headlight, and that half-inch difference means Touring-spec lights simply won't fit. Everything in this collection is sized for the Sportster's nacelle, so you don't have to cross-reference fitment charts before buying.

Which Sportster Models Are Compatible?

LOYO's 5.75-inch headlights and lighting kits are compatible with: Sportster XL 883, XL 883N Iron 883, XL 883L SuperLow, XL 1200C Custom, XL 1200X Forty-Eight, XL 1200T SuperLow, XL 1200CX Roadster, XR 1200 and XR 1200X, and 2021–2022 Nightster (S2 chassis). The same 5.75-inch fitment also covers Dyna models including Street Bob FXDB, Super Wide Glide FXDWG, Low Rider FXDL, and Fat Bob FXDF — so if you're on a Dyna, you're shopping in the right place too.

The Headlight is the First Mod Most Sportster Owners Make

The stock Sportster headlight produces around 700 lumens from a halogen H4 bulb — functional, but noticeably dim on unlit roads. More importantly, it does nothing for the look of the bike. LOYO's 5.75-inch LED options range from clean projector replacements starting at $45 to RGB halo builds at $109, giving Sportster riders the same range of style choices that Touring owners get — just sized correctly for the platform. All use H4 wiring, so installation is a direct swap without rewiring.

One thing worth knowing: some Sportster models, particularly 2007 and later XL variants, use a 4-pin connector rather than the standard H4. LOYO includes a 4-pin to H4 conversion harness in the collection for exactly this reason — it's a $12 adapter that makes any headlight in this range compatible with those years.

Turn Signals and Tail Lights — the Rest of the Build

Sportster owners tend to be more build-focused than Touring riders, and the turn signal and tail light choices here reflect that. LOYO's 2-inch bullet-style turn signals in 1157 (front) and 1156 (rear) configurations are the most popular starting point — clean, compact, and 10x brighter than the OEM units. For the rear, the Eagle Claw tail light is the standout option: a distinctive claw-shaped LED brake light that looks purpose-built for a stripped-back Sportster or bobber build, available with or without integrated turn signals.

Every LOYO product ships free to the continental US and carries a 1-year warranty. If you're unsure whether a specific product fits your year and model, send us your VIN or year and we'll confirm before you order.
