So install is simple. Plug and play. Couldn't hurt to put dielectric grease. It's a Jeep and maybe a zip ties just to keep plugs tight. on the hinge side. Try to secure wiring out of the way of the bar that tracks from the gate.It will hit and seperate plugs over time causing intermittent connection issues. Very distinct look and very bright. Satisfied with look.Have the 3rd brake light and disc all by xprite. Completes the look. Disc is for when 35's appear and pedestal is removed.

I purchased these to replace a cheaper set that went bad on me after a few months. These are much better quality and they look great! I really like the LED lights on the side of the housing too.

Very impressed with the look and function. Had already installed LED bulbs for back-up. Could have saved some money by buying these first as they are just as bright as the LED upgrade bulbs I had bought. 2 issues worth noting. 1. The fit is tight and care must be used to move the unit around to get it to seat properly. The screws might need to be "guided" with another tool to get them to line up with the proper holes. Make sure you put the correct left and right units on the correct sides. Easy to check by just looking at the DOT markings and making sure they are right side up. 2. The old wiring harness used to fasten to the light housing. These do not have a fasten point and as such the harness and connectors will be bouncing around the inside of the body. Not a real problem on the left side but on the right side you have the tailgate swing stopper that will hit the wires. Simple solution is to put a zip tie through the hole in the plate just inside the light, then put another zip tie around the harness and around the first zip tie. Will have to see durability over time.
