LED Headlight Assembly for Yamaha V STAR 1300 XVS 1300CT, E-mark Approved

This headlight installs in 10 minutes. It provides a much better beam, coverage and brightness over the factory light both on low and high beam.

My bike is a 2006 (2007 MY) early build V-Star 1300 tourer. It fit perfect! Excellent quality and packaging. Took 10 days to arrive from China to Cleveland, Ohio. Worth the $.

I found this light online for my Yamaha VStar 1300 deluxe. With the shape of the headlight I was a little worried it wouldn’t fit correctly. After receiving the headlight I compared it to the stock one and it is an exact fit. I put the light in. Aimed it and waited for dark and all I can say is wow! It’s very bright with a nice cut off. I recommend this for anyone who wants a nice looking LED upgrade to their 1300.

Installed very easy. Seems way brighter than light that was in bike.was perfect fit.

This light fits the OEM irregular shaped oval perfectly. 2 low beam and 1 high beam projectors distribute the light out in a clearly visible pattern that lights up the road. There is also a DRL between the beams. It's 100 times better than the OEM halogen light. To date I have not found any other custom LED headlamps that fit our VStar bikes, so this is the best option

This light is amazing, it was very easy to install, looks and works great . Definitely will recommend to anyone wishing to upgrade.

This great light fits the housing perfectly.
The only problem is it can’t be adjusted down far enough and I ended up winding the adjusting block out of its housing which then meant I had to take the sealed in lens off and reconnect the block to the housing, then I packed the two low beam leds along their top edge to aim them down more.
I thought about simply moving the whole light bucket but that looked like a big job too and as I needed to reattach the adjuster , not worth the effort.
If I knew before hand it wouldn’t adjust enough, I would have moved the housing.
Probably 6 - 8 hours work. Not an easy
job at all but worth it in the end I guess.

I installed this light in a 2007 (built 2006) VStar 1300 tourer without issue:

Pro's: Model compatibility (all VSTAR 1300's back to 2007), plug and play, simple installation, excellent light pattern and brightness, quality and packaging.

Con: The adjustment needs to be set as low as possible and still could come down just a bit more.

I actually broke my adjuster trying to lower it past the stop (by accident). Adjust it as low as possible, then it may be necessary to add a couple neoprene washers behind the light bucket to angle it down a bit further. Do not use a drill to adjust the light - it will break the mechanism.... i learned an expensive lesson.

This light replaces the entire stock lamp assembly. You will only reuse the trim ring. It takes roughly the same space (it's just a bit smaller) as the OEM lamp assembly inside the bucket.

Overall - high quality and worth the price. I'd recommend to anyone.
