Some minor wiring but I used original plugs and soldered and heat shrunk seal. Over all happy.
These are nice, bright and not an easy install for someone who is not too handy. I ordered a set of 4 pin male and female wire harness to make it easier to remove in the future. The holes needed to be drilled out a little for the bolts to fit and I also matched up the wires and had to ground it from the back using the same mounting nuts and bolts. Driver Side was easy, passenger side you gotta remove the wheel well cover and move the evap canister a bit to get your hands behind to tighten the nuts.

Pretty easy installation, had to drill the factory holes a bit bigger and upgrade my flashers on the fuse panel. Great look and function. Very bright. Perfect upgrade for my YJ !
They look and function great. Passenger side on a TJ is quite a pain to get to. Had to remove inner fender liner, then remove Evap canister just to reach the backside of the nuts/bolts. Driver side there is plenty of room to work from underneath. PS, these are side specific due to the license plate light if it’s in stock location. Happy with my purchase. Picture posted is just the tail light on/running light.

Absolutely love the look of these! Wiring was straight forward and just clipped the pigtail off the old lights and soldered to the new lights. If you don’t already have an LED flasher relay you’ll have to install one to prevent hyper flashing. I did a lot of research and settled on the Novita LM470 from AutoZone and this fixed the issue. I have been looking for a couple years for new taillights and everything out there for the TJ looked just like the clunky OEM lights except with LED’s. It was easy enough to put the nuts on the back of the drivers side once I drilled out the holes (great video on YouTube). The passenger was impossible unless you removed the inner fender and the EVAP canister behind the taillight. I chose to just drill out the holes and used heavy duty outdoor mounting tape (Home Depot) and it worked perfect. Super bright and modernized the rear of my TJ. Highly recommended of you want rear LED’s with a modern look.
These lights look great! They give my TJ a more modern look and since the housing is smaller than stock hopefully is less likely to be broken by a branch or rock while wheeling.They are light but feel well made and the light output is nice and bright.
But they need some modifications to fit.
Got these for my old cj5. I put some LED headlights in it and these matched those better than the stock ones. They seem to be of good quality and mounted up just like the stock lights. Even with the smoke color, they are much brighter than the stock units. The lenses are made nicely in that the X illuminates completely and doesn't look like a bunch of individual LEDs inside. The reverse lights are nice an bright as well.
Wiring was easy and the wiring diagram was right on the box. They are a little slimmer than the factory Jeep tail lights so they don't stick out quite as far off the back of the Jeep as the factory ones do. I would definitely recommend these if your looking for a slightly different look for your Jeep without going too wild.

If you are starting with a good platform the installation will be a breeze. If not I recommend buying 3 prong male/female connectors
Great lights pretty bright. I installed them on my 2003 Wrangler relatively easy install. Only drawback is they should've come with resistors to fix the Hyper blink.
Easy installation and operation is perfect.
Works as they should however they do not mount without modification.
Nice light but the instructions are terrible. I like the light but took way longer than it should.
1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ fit perfectly and looks great. Very bright and the backup lights are exceptionally bright.

Smooth installation - i watched several you-tube videos for tips with install. These needed no License plate bracket mods. However accessing the nuts proved a bit cumbersome. I have a Renegade body (wide) this required taking off inner fender well for nut access. Not a big deal!
The lights look fresh and provide adequate light as they don't appear any brighter than the OEM'S
